Jaskarn is currently working as a Financial Adviser helping people from all walks of life to improve their financial circumstances. He is also a school governor at Kingsthorpe Sports College. Having lived in Northampton all his life Jaskarn was keen to get involved with the Lotus Foundation.

On his motivations for being part of the Lotus Foundation he said:

“I have lived in Northampton all my life and like others my age have seen our parents build and help maintain a strong sense of community from scratch. I felt it was time to start helping. It just seemed like we had reached a stage that was difficult to move on from – we needed a catalyst for change. In order to move our community forward and accommodate the sort of growth potential that so obviously exists we needed a fresh approach with vigour and method. I wanted to ensure that all cross sections of the community were going to benefit from future changes and that these changes were going to be sustainable for future generations.”
