Born in Northampton and currently taking some time out to raise her newborn baby Dalbir has previously worked for Northamptonshire Police as well as Carlsberg on a Project and Information Management role.

Asked why she wanted to get involved with the Lotus Foundation Dalbir replied:

”Family values are important to me. I wanted to ensure we are doing all we can to help our children be a part of the Sikh Community in Northampton. I want future generations to grow up with an appreciation of our culture and religion. However in order to do this I could see that we needed to move things forward and improve the way in which we offer services to the community. I very much look forward to this challenge and working with the community.”
