Amarjit is employed as Commercial Director for Kingfield Heath Limited the largest office products distributor in the UK. Amarjit is actively involved in a number of activities on behalf of the Northampton Sikh Community. He is currently the treasurer for the Northampton Faith Forum and sits on the IAG (Independent Advisory Group) for Northamptonshire Police providing a Sikh representation. A key focus area for him is educating the wider community about the Sikh faith, whether it be new Police officers, school children, scouts, other faith groups or the general public.

When asked why he joined the Lotus Foundation he replied:

"I am passionate about ensuring the current generation have an opportunity to shape not only their future, but the future of generations to come. This project is an exciting opportunity that will allow us to work closer with not only the Sikh Community, but the wider community across Northamptonshire."
